Fleet F77 is the first, full-featured model in a family of new high-bandwidth IP-enabled global satellite systems.
The Fleet product suite is the next generation of maritime satellite communications, having evolved from the highly
successful Inmarsat A, B and M systems, but using much more lightweight stabilized antennas. In essence, SkyNet Fleet F77
is a marine-enabled Inmarsat M4. It is an integrated service that allows you to choose from Mobile Packet Data (MPDS),
ISDN, PSTN and low cost voice telephony. Mobile Packet Data revolutionizes satellite communications by providing an "always
on" channel where you only pay for data sent and received, not the time connected. In effect, "your thinking time is free".
For the first time, cost effective Internet Access, as well as real-time telemetry, SCADA and messaging applications are
available to all maritime users. Fleet F77 from SkyNet also provides dedicated 64Kbps ISDN connectivity, enabling
high-speed data transfer and high quality voice, fax and video, a 3.1 kHz audio channel for the connection of analogue
devices as well as low cost "mini M" voice telephony and fax. SkyNet offers enhanced Fleet F77 128Kbps service on a
global basis.

and services—previously available only on much larger vessels—directly to users on smaller vessels in the Inmarsat
spot beams. This member of the Fleet family of products is the next generation of Inmarsat maritime satellite
communication solutions offered by SkyNet, having evolved from the highly successful Inmarsat A, B and M systems,
but using a much more lightweight, stabilized and easy-to-install antenna.
