SkyNet Mobile Communications was established in Brisbane, Australia on the 13th of July 2002
to provide low cost Satellite Tracking and Data services.
The company initial activities offer low cost Satellite tracking systems for Aviation and Marine applications. Since this date the company has progressively added new technology and expanded its operations now offering wholesale and retail services across many Satellite and GSM platforms in a number of countries, including Inmarsat and Iridium global networks. SkyNet has also pioneered personnel duress and tracking systems, integrating custom designed software into current mobile phones to offer additional safety while affording mobile freedom. Today SkyNet is available across the globe via reseller distributors and provides Airlines and Fleet operators a diverse array of Satellite and Terrestrial products. Satellite data has greatly expanded offering services for BGAN, ISDN, Fleet 33 / 77, HSD / HSD+ and Swift 64 and Iridium Voice. In the Aero, Marine, Land Transport and Data vertical segments. SkyNet has points of presence in USA, Canada, Australia and Europe.
